By Nathan Steagall, Stephen Broy, Sebastian Brakefield and Ryan Eanes

Function

The Function of the excretory system is to collect and remove wastes produced by the body.

Organs

Kidneys

Excretion begins when blood enters the kidneys. It flows through smaller and smaller arteries until it reaches a cluster of capillaries inside a nephron. The capillaries are connected to a tube that take urea, glucose and some water from the blood. This forms urine.
